PROVIDENCE O'CHRISTMAS TREES 2020 - VIRTUAL EVENT, Dec. 5
Providence O’Christmas Trees 2020 is going virtual – bringing its 36th annual Gala & Auction to the public on Saturday Dec. 5, 2020, in a new way, but with the same magic, warmth and joy to ring in the holiday season. In 2020 this premiere holiday event will be condensed to one evening, which guests can enjoy for free from the comfort of their own home. This virtual celebration, presented by Denali Advanced Integration, will feature a beautiful streamed experience with a modern, interactive and impactful program in support of the ministries of Providence Home and Community Care. The event will run from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. and will feature a special performance by acclaimed R&B/soul singer Allen Stone, in addition to many Providence O’Christmas Trees favorites, including Christmas stories with Shellie Hart from WARM 106.9, the Northwest Boychoir and Santa. The virtual gala will display 12 extravagant Christmas Trees, include prize drawings, highlight Providence ministries, and include a special appeal to donate to Providence Home and Community Care during these challenging times. Job tasks include cleaning and light maintenance for the parish, school buildings and grounds, to include dust mopping and/or vacuuming floors, cleaning bathrooms, collecting and emptying garbage and recycle, and washing windows. The Western Washington University Newman Center located in Bellingham, WA is seeking the employment of one individual as a full-time Campus Minister. The Campus minister is tasked, under the direction of the chaplain, to assist in providing appropriate care to students within the Peer Ministry team and across campus.
