Christopher Grazko

Eastside Catholic High School
Junior

Chris is a “model” of Eastside Catholic’s emphasis on academics, relationships and especially servant leadership, said nominator Lynn Kittridge, a religious studies teacher. “In one October week alone, he attended the orientation meeting for our February service trip, helped prepare and serve dinner at Tent City IV, and came with two of his peers to celebrate monthly Mass at Echo Glen [Juvenile Detention Center].” He carries a 4.0 GPA. “The depth of thought and effort that Chris puts into his schoolwork is outstanding,” Kittridge said. Chris is a member of Holy Innocents Parish in Duvall, where he serves as an usher. “The time he gives to service to his school, his church, and to those in need is truly sacrificial.”

In each edition through June, Northwest Catholic will honor students for their achievements and contributions in the classroom, in their extracurricular activities, and in their churches and communities. At the end of the school year, two Students of the Year will be selected to receive $1,000 Northwest Catholic scholarships.
