Kennedy Catholic High School
“Angel values integrity, respect, compassion, empathy, dedication, passion and hard work,” said nominator Sofia Lopez. She’s the ASB president and a member of the school band, Human Relations Club, National Honor Society and Spanish Honor Society, and has been a leader of the school’s Search retreats. A member of St. Francis of Assisi Parish in Burien, she carries a 3.9 GPA.
O’Dea High School
Pablo “is a well-rounded student, quiet leader, volunteer and engaged member of the O’Dea community,” said nominator John O’Neill. He’s the Kilkenny House chaplain, leader of the Latin Club,
and a member of the National Honor Society and the track and field team, and he carries a 4.0 GPA. He’s a member of St. Cecilia Parish on Bainbridge Island, where he volunteers for fundraising dinners and holiday events.
In each edition through June, Northwest Catholic will honor students for their achievements and contributions in the classroom, in their extracurricular activities, and in their churches and communities. At the end of the school year, two Students of the Year will be selected to receive $1,000 Northwest Catholic scholarships.
