Molly Zepeda

Pope John Paul II High School

“Molly is an exceptional example of a student living her faith,” said nominator Therese Allin, the school’s principal. She is ASB secretary, serves on the campus ministry team and is a member of National Honor Society. She participates in volleyball, cross country and track and carries a 3.993 GPA. A member of St. Michael Parish in Olympia, she wants to be a Catholic educator.

Kennedy Catholic High School

“Brandon feels his most authentic self when he is at the service of others,” said nominator Sofia Lopez. He’s a member of the praise band and DECA, participates in track and cultural dance, and carries a 3.46 GPA. A member of St. Vincent de Paul Parish in Federal Way, he is a Life Teen core team member, participates in Mission Trek and serves as an usher.


In each edition through June, Northwest Catholic will honor students for their achievements and contributions in the classroom, in their extracurricular activities, and in their churches and communities. At the end of the school year, two Students of the Year will be selected to receive $1,000 Northwest Catholic scholarships.
