Senior

Florence embodies “dedication and service in her actions,” said nominator Sofia Lopez. She carries a 4.0 GPA and is president of the National Honor Society, leader of the school praise band and secretary of the Science Club. She volunteers weekly with Northwest Harvest, and she prepares meals for the homeless at the ARISE Shelter at her parish, St. Anthony in Renton.

Connor McClean

Kennedy Catholic High School
Senior

“Connor follows Jesus’ example and sacrifices for the sake of all those around him,” said nominator Sofia Lopez. He’s the senior class coordinator and is involved with drama, the SEARCH retreat, Lancers Against Cancer, the National and ASL honor societies and the International Thespian Society. He carries a 3.84 GPA and is an acolyte at St. Francis of Assisi Parish in Burien.

In each edition through June, Northwest Catholic will honor students for their achievements and contributions in the classroom, in their extracurricular activities, and in their churches and communities. At the end of the school year, two Students of the Year will be selected to receive $1,000 Northwest Catholic scholarships.
