Chloe Dahleen

Kennedy Catholic High School

“Chloe is an outstanding member of her school community because of her dedication to growth," said Principal Nancy Bradish. She is president of the National Honor Society, former vice president of the Cascadia Junior Classical League, and a member of the varsity swim and dive team, DECA, Lady Lancers, and FOUND. A member of Seattle's Holy Rosary Parish, she also leads school retreats and carries a 4.0 GPA.

O'Dea High School

Matthew is a "solid well-rounded O'Dea gentleman," said nominator John O'Neill. He is president of the National Honor Society and plays violin in the liturgical choir and saxophone in the band. He also serves as school chaplain and carries a 4.20 GPA. An avid soccer player, he volunteers as a coach each summer for soccer camps for disadvantaged youth in Snohomish County. He is a member of Holy Family Parish in Kirkland.

In each edition through June, Northwest Catholic will honor students for their achievements and contributions in the classroom, in their extracurricular activities, and in their churches and communities. At the end of the school year, two Students of the Year will be selected to receive $1,000 Northwest Catholic scholarships.
