Afternoon to include games, costume contests, crafts, food and fellowship
The Archdiocese of Seattle will hold an afternoon of fun activities for families with children with special needs on Saturday, Oct. 26, from 1-4 p.m. at St. Monica Church, 4301 88th Ave. S.E. The event, called "Fun Beyond Limits," will include games, costume contests, crafts, food and fellowship.
The event has three goals, said Erica Cohen Moore, archdiocesan director for pastoral care: to promote fellowship and support among families with children with special needs, to provide a fun inclusive event for special needs families, and to lay the groundwork for future programs for special needs families and determine interests.
