Dialogue for Justice, an archdiocesan-wide initiative to advocate for the reduction of poverty in Washington state, will hold three regional “convenings” in September and October.
The purpose of the convenings is to prepare and educate advocates from parishes and other groups for the 2014 legislative session.
The first convening will be held at St. Michael Church in Olympia (1208 11th Ave.) on Saturday, Sept. 28, from 10 a.m. to noon. (Register by Sept. 23.)
The second will be held at St. James Cathedral in Seattle (804 Ninth Ave.) on Saturday, Oct. 19, from 10 a.m. to noon. (Register by Oct. 11.)
The third will be held at Sacred Heart Church in Bellingham (1110 14th St.) on Wednesday, Oct. 23, from 7-9 p.m. (Register by Oct. 16.)
Dialogue for Justice is coordinated by Catholic Community Services of Western Washington, the Intercommunity Peace & Justice Center and the Washington State Catholic Conference.
