SEATTLE

Providence O' Christmas Trees, a fundraiser for Providence Senior and Community Services featuring 15 ornately decorated Christmas trees, will take place Dec. 2-4 at The Westin Seattle, 1900 Fifth Ave. Now in its 29th year, the event is one of Providence's largest annual fundraisers, raising $1.2 million in 2012 to help those in need through health care, housing and hospice.

The tree will include framed copies of handwritten lyrics, Fender guitars, feathers and fringe.

Families are invited to attend the free Christmas Carnival on Dec. 2 from 12-8 p.m., which will feature live entertainment, craft projects, photos with Santa and a musical visit by local children's entertainer Casper Babypants.

The Silver Bells Luncheon and fashion show will be held Dec. 3 from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. The O'Christmas Trees Gala Dinner & Auction will follow on the evening of Dec. 4.
