Forgive Until It Hurts

Then Peter came and said to Him, “Lord, how often shall my brother sin against me and I forgive him? Up to seven times?” Jesus said to him,“I do not say to you, up to seven times, but up to seventy times seven.” (Matthew 18:21-22)

“Live up to the uniform”

Forty years ago the great German theologian and Jesuit priest Karl Rahner declared, “The Christian of the future will be a mystic or he will not exist at all.” I would say that Christians today and those in the near future must not only be mystics, that is to say, individuals who cultivate a personal and intimate relationship with Jesus, but also martyrs or as the term is defined, “Witnesses.”

Nothing is impossible

The Holy Father invited us to rediscover faith this year. I think that faith can be described as “the personal response to the experience of being found by someone who loves me.” When any one of us feels loved, we trust completely the person we are loved by because we know that person desires only our wellbeing and happiness.
